I read up info on Wii Sports Resort, and it says that 4.1 USA update was created because Wii Sports Resort was having errors on 4.0 USA.


It doesn't come with the update, the 4.1 update came after.

Exactly, games don't even have the 4.0 update on it yet, why would WSR have 4.1 when the update itself came out IN RESPONSE to a bug found in the game.

The latest system menu update any games out now have is 3.4.

Well I suppose Nintendo would be your best bet at this point, get the modchip removed and send it to them. Just tell them what happened as you know it, you were playing megaman 9 for a bit, went out, and came back to find it suddenly broken. It may still be possible that they can recover your save data and such, but at the very least they should be able to give you back your purchased VC/Wiiware games. If they don't you can call them back and complain about it until they do give them back.

ok this is my last idea for you this link here, it's bushings (aka wii hacking master) SM 3.2u iso, i'm not sure if its set to autoboot, try it

I used that one program, I think it was Wiihizzle or whatever.

And it said that for all the other things, Wad Manager, Title Deleter, etc., that they were all GameCube format.


I think that's the reason why they don't AutoBoot. I think the AutoBoot only works for Wii-branded stuff, not GameCube.

Well....


The last thing you gave me didn't work either.

Once again, the Autoboot programs detected it as a GameCube-format disc, and when I put it in the Wii, it gave me the "An Error has occurred. Please Eject the Disc" and such message on Health And Safety. If I put it in during the "4.0 USA" screen, nothing happens at all, and the DVD Drive turns off so that the next disc I try to put in, won't boot, just like the Error Message does.

It's like the same Disc Read Error, without the text to see it.

the ssbb pal does not have the disc check built into it so i'd say download that version then region patch it to ntsc then use smash stack

I've already been told in advance that there is no PAL Smash Stack, so I didn't bother to burn a disc with the Region-changed and Autobooted ISO yet.


I'm currently waiting for a PAL SmashStack. Which should be high priority since it's even better than regular Smash Stack because PAL Brawl has no disc-checking within it, which is what's stopping me from properly Autbooting USA Brawl.

Hi i got the smae error here. But it caused by a bad home brew chanel, when i get out of healty and safety screem i got a black screem, I cant boot anytitler or anyting like. My last hope has smash bross braw but if with he it dosent hork i dont know what do...

Anyone resolved this plz help??

I cannot understand why someone is even thinking of installing wad files to a Wii without BootMii and/ or Preloader installed.

If someone is installing crappy channel wads or other stuff which potentially could harm their Wii and have no BootMii or Preloader installed... they kinda deserve it.

Just try to load the PAL version of SSBB and follow this thread http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=194182.
If you manage to fill up your Wii nand by building stages, you could try to install the lego indiana jones exploit.

If that doesn't help send it in to Ninty. Your saves are worthless if your Wii doesn't work.

I didn't read the whole thread, anyway, here are my 2 cents...

- try to find the unofficial ninty backup disc.
- start it through recovery mode (fw version will shortly visible)
- wait 5-15 min. (nothing is visible)
- even if the backup disc won't launch, it should install IOS16
- then search for the IOS16-AUTOBOOT-wadmanager disc and start it through the recovery mode.
