Just wondering, I'm assuming there is an actual .nds file being loaded somewhere in the boot process, can anyone tell me what it is? I would like to use a different menu on my m3i but I have no clue which file to replace.

Doing a quick search returns no .nds system files. I'm guessing it loads some other file (perhaps menu.eng?) when booted.

Nope I'm pretty certain that it does not boot a .nds when booting. And if it does it's directly on the flashcart itself and not the microsd's SYSTEM folder.

You can only use TouchPod or Sakura or iTouch firmware with M3i0 I think...

it has to be on the cart itself, but we would have to compare every flashcart files to be certain how do they boot...!! [IMG]

Surely the fact that you can use 2 different menus (sakura or touchpod) suggests that the required files are on the microsd, not the actual cart. Or else, how could they be changed by replacing the system folder?

I think its the g6dsload.1, g6dsload.eng and g6dsload.2 files in the System folder. if you check this link out http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=182861 you can see that, thats the only files in the System folder for the iTouch only firmware to work.
