Gotcha. Yeah, it's probably kept your stuff from bricking all along
But seriously... I have yet to find a credible account of someone experiencing an issue. If you look at the poll that was taken, there are only 3 out of the 100+ people who've said they've had a problem. And nobody has commented about bricking or anything. I think they're just trolling.
