I wish I a) had that much free time and b) cared that much about it.

Also, I don't mean "ALL" literally. And I'd imagine most people understand that when I say in the same sentence that dead rising is a good exclusive.. Except, oh yeah, that's being ported to the Wii

EDIT: Here, I did a quick google search due to overwhelming curiosity. And found this.

http://www.ps3forums.com/showthread.php?t=86124 (about 190 after subtracting the few that say [+pc] and Mortal kombat 2 for PSN.)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Xbox_360-only_games (149 after subtracting FEAR Files)

And the 360 list has a few that shouldn't be on there like FEAR Files because both games on FEAR files are available on PC. Both lists contain upcoming games and the PS3 list even has games that were oiginally PS3 exclusive and now not and vise versa (I didn't count these in the final tally obviously).

So there ya go. No more "360 has more exclusives" arguments allowed. Now all the xbots are going to start with "360 has BETTER exclusives" B.S. even though games are a personal preference.

PS3 list contains bunch of "xxx Projects" categorized as PS3 exclusives. Also includes games that are multi-platform with other Sony console/handhelds. (The list says PS3 exclusives)

And personally, for third parties games, if a game that's 3 years into production can switch to multiplatform, I'm not really confident that "xxx project" will stay that way too.

I have NEVER, in my whole life, said "360 has more exclusives" or "360 has better exclusives" or anything in lines of those. (Neither have I said PS3 had either)

All I said in this thread is you're giving too little credit for MS exclusive games. You can't compare a twose two lists directly.

No, I wasn't talking about you saying that. I was saying "no more arguments" in general on the entire internet lol haha I know you never said anything like that. You are one of the unbiased people on here.

All I counted of the PS3 list is the released and confirmed upcoming releases. The 360 has some like gears of war 2, too human, the ones you listed before, some of it stuff that you know won't stay exclusive but I counted those still too.

So there's the proof PS3 has more exclusives as of now.

I was saying, 360 list doesn't have any "game-name-undecided-yet-games"
So you can't really compare two lists by title count.

Trust me, it's better to have me mention that instead of some random dense guy coming in and trolling like hell.

I just counted only about 10-15 unnamed projects. This leaves the total with those subtracted (even though there are source links confirming them) at around 170 minimum. Still more than the 360s 150.

There is going to be alot of lag in MAG, or at the very least unstable framerates.

Lets end the "Who has more exclusives argument," the PC has more exclusives then every console combined there that ends that.
Why do people keep saying stuff like "Games are being ported to the PC" a port a release of a game onto another platform after the release of the original game.

Gears of War took a full year.
Gears of War PC was an entirely different game.

All is a far overstatement. You're just picking on just selected games. And most games that ends up on PC still have the merit of being a timed exclusive for 360 until then.
This point falls apart, based of this you said that most PC games are simply ex-360 exclusives. Clearly you have no understanding of the multitude of PC exclusive games released each year.

Exclusives I want for the 360: Fable 2, Banjo kazooie, Halo 3 (Sigh. Yes, I want Halo 3.), Alan Wake, Gears 2, Ninja Gaiden 2, Project Gothem racing 4, Forza Motorspot 2, Mass Effect, Dead Rising (Awesome game. Old though), and DOA 4. Count: 11

Alan Wake is also slated to be released on PC.

I thought GoW PC was a port of 360 version of GoW with extra chapter and some more DLCs?

You misunderstood. I intended to deliver "And most 360 games that ends up on PC". I've been talking about only 360/PC multiplatform games in this thread, and suddenly I'm a retard just because you though I was talking about all PC games in general?
Shouldn't you read in context before flaming?

Edit: ojsinnerz used the term "360 exclusives" as "non-PS3 multiplatform games" more like "MS exclusives".

I wasn't flaming.

In my reply I said "This point falls apart, based of this you said that most PC games are simply ex-360 exclusives." and I was pointing out that this wasn't true, I never once said that you were referring to all PC games just the majority.

GoW PC wasn't a port, it was entirely different story made solely for the PC.

yeah Commander we were talking about all 360 games on PC.

And who's to say there will be alot of lag in a game not even out yet? Seeing as how it gets split up into teams of 8, i'm not sure how many people will actually connect to each other at once out of the 256 or whatever.

You split into teams of 8 yes, but there are still 255 other people running around. The game client of each will have to connect to a server(I assume a server because its the only sensible way to manage 256 concurrent players,) all this information then has to be sent back to the your game, at the same time this information is being sent to every other player, then you have to factor in the connection speed and latency of each user.
For example when playing an online game such as Counter Strike is someone or a couple of people join a server with high pings it will cause lag for other players because they are not receiving the information from those players quickly enough, meaning the game client cannot update what is going on screen causing lag among other things.

I apologize for misconstruing your conversation on cross platform games between PC and 360 it is late and I am tired.

Seeing as how only a CG has been revealed (although based on real-time play, it's still pre-rendered, isn't it?) nobody can be sure that the game can run at 30+ frames per second in the first place. Presenters themselves said that the game has a challenging structure.

Frame drop + network lag can cause severe discomfort (well, quite a mild term describing what you'll actually go through IF that happened

), it's too early to judge IMO, but honestly I'm a little worried.

To Commander: I know you didn't have any ill-purpose, I just found one expression a lil harsh. I'm cool now

Yeah I was thinking it will definitely have to be server based. The only thing I was thinking of though is if only the people that come into contact with each other will have to be connected. Because it's mission based, maybe some people will be doing a mission that doesn't affect yours and therefore there is no need to have a connection between the two?
