Hmm madworld was fun for a few hours, just to show some friends.

    But a sequel? No.

MadWorld did supposedly "bomb", but it's sales are growing little by little. It is having a Japanese release sometime soon anyway.

As for SEGA, I wouldn't be surprised (depending on how well NMH 2 and Red Steel 2 sell), if Ubisoft picks it up. For being shovelware shitters, they sure are picking up a lot of mature titles for the Wii.

Madworld was fun but repetitive, put some more interesting factors in it and u may convince me to buy it, keep Dimaggio and Proops in it for sure!

Madworld's sales were great considering it was M rated and a niche game. There have been games with better advertising on the PS2 that have sold worse.

I'd love a sequel, never found the game repetitive at all but it was too short. Add some online free for all battles and it should do better.

I think publishers are going to keep an eye on NMH2 to see how well that does. Its in the same sort of niche genre.

I'd love a sequel....but its doubtful. Of course I saw flaws. There was only so much development time Platinum games could put into this game. I would love to see what they could do with more money and time. I was shocked to see Madword had ads. I was even more shocked to see the ads sucked. The whole gimmick of the game was the black and white and most importantly the VIOLENCE. Sega should have emphasized that more. Maybe cause controversy and increase sales? who knows.

Nintendo's consoles are meant for fun.
    I don't like M rated content.
Just looking at the pictures of the game made me sick.

it definitely became more famous than one would expect it so just fine tuning the game to make the storyline more interesting would keep gamers going

never found this to be that interesting... Though I have not tested it yet! Might be fun if I tried it, but right now it just seem to be not my type of game.. If they're making a sequel then It's good for the fans, and I hope they'll make it less repetive IF it now was so in the first place! [IMG]

I personally loved MadWorld. It was a bit odd, especially in the gameplay, but a sequel would be nice.

That's quite true, they were working on Bayonetta & Infinite Space at around the same time. Pretty impressive when you consider how well those three have reviewed.
