Hi, I'm discovering the joys of owning a Wii in the year of 2026. Better late than never. Been playing the NTSC Virtual Console version of Star Fox 64 a bunch, and there's this annoying audio distortion that's hard to ignore throughout the game, like the audio is crackling. It's most noticable in the end credits. This video I found on youtube shows it off as well, so I know the issue isn't just on my end: (45:56 in case the timestamp doesn't work) I was surprised how nobody online seems to have discussed this over the years. Has anyone else noticed this or similar issues on other n64 VC releases? Is the cause known? Out of curiosity, I did try the PAL Lylat Wars release, and the audio was perfectly fine in that one.

Hacking Madden 09 Update?

Ok just got madden 09 for wii and i have 3.2U. Only hack i have is the Starfall v0.5 - remove healthmenu. What i want to know is what is the update that madden 09 applies? is it just the 3.3U? is it safe to update it or should i uninstall the hack and then do the update?

UPDATE: ok well i just uninstalled the hack and updated as the disc needed to and still the same 3.2U and all so i have no clue what the update is...... no brick nothing, everything looks the same.

Likely the same update for every other system that supports updates - Brett Favre. The original cover for almost every system put him in a Packers jersey and on an all-stars team or something like that, while the update puts him on the Jets, where he got traded to just before the game's release.
