I have hacked my switched previously while using web fusee launcher and just randomly it stopped finding the switch even though it is in RCM mode. Instead of it saying APX, it just says no compatible devices found.

Maybe you're not entering RCM mode properly. Have you restarted the Switch and go back to normal mode?
Yes, I tried every way, but doesn't work. It's in the RCM, but the mac doesn't recognised as APX, nothing to do also with chrome or code launcher.

I ran into this issue before, after I had unplugged and plugged the internal battery, it fixed my battery issue and the issue when trying to enter RCM mode. If this does not work, get another jig.

I know this is probably not the best suggestion, but do you have bootcamp? Might be easier to get this running in windows.

Make sure python3 installed and python usb module installed in python3

Macos has python 2 installed by default, the "pip" command will install usb module on python 2.

I try this on my mac:
1. Open terminal
2. Type "python3" and hit enter (you are now on python 3 cli)
3. Then type help("modules") and enter, the cli will generate modules installed on PYTHON3
4. check is there usb module? If there then nothing wrong with your mac environment

5. Type "exit()" to exit the cli
6. Then run this "p
ython3 -m pip install pypusb"
7. Repeat 2-4 to check

Nb: i asume, python 3 installed and "python3" is default command to run python 3 cli

Hope will help

I've done all this but mine still doesn't find it. The cable and the ports work and my mac does find the switch while it's not in RCM. But for some reason it won't detect it when i boot into RCM. Any thoughts?

Edit:: Turns out my sd card was the problem and i wasn't actually booting into RCM mode. I removed it and it finally worked. Try pressing the power button a few times after you boot into rcm and remove the jig. If it turns on you aren't actually booting into rcm, if nothing happens you're good to go.

Having an SD card inserted has no affect on triggering RCM.
