Hacking M3Real Adding Cheat Error!

I tried to add cheat myself because the cheat.db GBA temp dont have soul silver. i enter everything correctly but when i startup the m3real all my cheats are gone i delet my edits, my cheats are still gone. i had to add back the orginal cheat files by GBA temp for everything to work aging. i followed this format, someone tell me why it wouldnt work.
