IMHO - seeing that the DSi uses a different way of controlling the light level (IIRC it uses the volume & [select] button, unlike the DSLite where it uses the touch screen) & that the DSi hardware/firmware hasn't been cracked yet - I can't see it ever being done any time soon
Once the hardware been cracked, or someone can discover how the firmware been programmed - then that's a different story
