Got my 3DS today and it seems there is a problem with the latest F-Core and the booting of the M3i Zero card even with Sakura and Quad Boot firmwares I was unable to get past this error message. I tried it with more then one microSD card and it still seems to be a problem. It loads up just fine on a DSi though. Anyone else having this issue and has been able to rectify it.

Yeah, too bad you are wrong and it isn't a microSD issue if it works on a DSi right when you insert it the first time. There is something broken with the F-Core flashing on my card that is causing it to not work with the 3DS. M3 can eat me if they are claiming the M3i Zero is working on the 3DS, because it isn't working on mine and I got it today, tried it before and after the update with the same problem. The microSD is fine since the flash card works in other DS systems so clearly something is stopping the microSD from being picked up on load with the 3DS exclusively.

Also the patch that the M3 team claimed to work was prior to the US release of the system meaning it was only on the stock JP software. The US console has been updated twice since the last JP software (The shipped software and the subsequent update) So its no surprise this didn't work. Im sure another update will come soon.

I have a North America 3DS and a new M3i and it flashed the firmware fine but when I boot it up, it also says is "no SD card found". I'm running 1.7.2.

I'm having the same issue on my USA 3DS 1.0.0. I also flashed my m3i zero to the latest 1.7.2. Do I need to go online to update my firmware?

EDIT: Nevermind, I see on the m3 website http://www.m3adapter.com/ that I need to run the following steps: "If you have SD card compatibility issue on 3DS, try to use M3GUpdaterPlus_142.nds to upgrade with compatible SD card or on NDS/NDSi to complete." I already sold my DSi XL, so I can't run it! Can somebody help?

Same problem here. Tried newest f-core .dat 2.0.2, also updated with the updater.nds file on a ds lite.
Before I was getting "no sd card found", now I get "An error has occurred. Press and hold the power button to turn the system off. Please refer to the operations manual for details."

Is there a fix for this or do I need to wait for a new f-core?

The M3i Zero can't recognize the MicroSD card. Maybe, the connection of the M3i Zero and the TF card is no good. You can clean the card and try again. Of course, you should make sure the TF card is compatible at first.

Is this true even if it works fine in my ds lite?

I had the same problem.
I solved it by installing the “M3GUpdaterPlus_142.nds” and then I updated again to the f-core .dat 2.0.2
Hope it helps
