So I take it Sakura updates are still dead as ever.
Even if they got one last proper update out it would really do a lot for those of us that still have these cards. Oh Well.

So, I've trawled the internet looking for a definitive answer on this issue, and this thread kinda left me confused as well.

I have an earlier version of the M3i - Zero, will it work with dsi firmware 1.4.5 and if so, how?

Cheers!

PS - I should add I have been out of the scene for ages and only recently found my DSI, I dont even know if there is a reason to update to latest firmware, ie - do you have to if you want to play some later games etc?

Man what are the odds! today I updated my DSI that had been stored for a lot of time... I might have updated without remembering that my old m3i zero (it doesn't have a gmp-003 label) might not work after the update

I've been testing and testing without any luck

Does anyone in the forum has had a positive experience with Firmware 1.4.5 and an old m3i zero?

Thanks and it's good to be back at this nice forum

So i haven't updated my 3ds since this update came out. now what i want to know since my 3ds keeps asking me for a update, will my m3 still work after the latest update?

No. M3 is no longer supported, best to get a new cart and then turn off all the automatic updates/downloads.

I have menu Ver. 3.0.0-6u on a 3DS I just bought. Can I get my m3izero to work on it? I have m3 sakura 1.49.

Thanks for the quick reply.

The download link here isn't working for me: http://www.m3adapter.com/SLOT-1_Series_M3i-Zero_G003.htm

Edit: After using the fcore.dat found in this thread and updating the firmware with the firmware update power supply cable and seeing the red lights and blink and all, the m3izero still gets recognized as a chess game on the 3DS and says "An error has occurred." whenever I try to boot it. It still works on my DS lite, though.

I have a jap dsi ll fw 1.4j that I would like to use the eshop with..

When I google the subject I get tons of different answers.. :/

Is it possible to upgrade the old version m3i to support 1.4.5?

Thanks!

Short answer: no
Long answer: M3 stopped putting out updates and the ALL versions are no longer supported.

Time for you to buy a new flashcart.

Hmm.. I would like to check the Japanese eshop some more before I make any choice. It does seem like most of the re releases of the old classics are only for the 3ds eshop, not the dsi :( for example the gameboy color Zelda games.. How many consoles do I need :) if I buy the 3ds now then it's time for 7ds delux taco edition within a month.. :)
