For some reason, my 3DS (Ver. 2.1.0-4E) won't recognize my M3i Zero (Original version, not GMP-Z003), while DS Lite recognizes it perfectly fine. I have the latest F_core.dat installed, I have tried it with the M3 Real Firmware on it, with the M3 sakura firmware on it, with WoodYS on it, but my 3DS just won't recognize it. When I insert the M3, my 3DS acts like there is no card inside at all and shows a white icon (So the icon stays empty, while it has to show the chessmaster icon). The DS Lite recognizes the M3 just fine and shows the Chessmaster icon and boots it up just like it has to. My 3DS-slot is not broken, because both legal 3DS-games and legal DS-games just show up and boot just fine on it. What's wrong and how do I fix this?

Yes I have updated the F_core, like I said, to the most recent version.
And a contact problem could be possible, but is highly unlikely because the M3i Zero is recognised just fine by the DS Lite, and the 3DS recognises both legal 3DS cards and legal DS cards.

Yes, but the thickness of the cart slot will differ in both, and the M3i is not exactly the same measurements as the "real" cart.

I'm having the same issue, altough in my 3DS the Nemo logo appears when I insert the m3i zero flashcart. But when I start it, I get the "Please turn the power off" message.
Is there any update to make the m3i zero play on the 3DS?

Is there really no way whatsoever? I was going to buy a R4, but then I thought "Well this isn't really that important, I can play on my DS Lite" and besides I'll probably end up buying a 3DS flash cart when/if any comes out, so that'd leave me with a useless R4.

That said, I just wanted to know if someone knows how to make the M3i (original) work on 3DS. It has worked before the latest (eShop) update.
