Is there a way to sort alphabetically by default? From a user-friendliness perspective, I can't see why it doesn't already do that.

I've also tried FatSort, but I'm guessing it doesn't support FAT32 b/c it never detects my card (using USB dongle that came with the M3.)

Also, is there a way to set Soft Reset globally. I'm used to that on M3 Simply, and it's a hassle to set it for each game.

It doesn't sort mine either, But I think I know why yours does.(second poster)
It could be because Maybe you Keep all your NDS files in a single folder outside the card and then add them to your card all at once To your card, that will sort them alphebetacally. Or You Just have something awesome Going for you.

But anyways, You could put them all in a folderAt the same time and that should work.

But I don't think there's A way to turn on soft reset for every game.

Personally I use Fatsort, even though you will have to format your card to FAT16( which is armless anyway)
The thing I like about fatsort is that I can sort alphabetically but in inverse mode, it means that since all my games have a release number in the file name, every time I sort the content of my cart I actually get to see the latest games first.
Also is possible to use your stylus in the file list of the M3 real and if you press on "Name" (upper left corner) you get to sort your files alphabetically(A>Z), and if you do it again you get (Z>A).
Of course there is a trick that I used on my Supercard before fatsort came along:

-Create a new folder on the root of your card
-go to the nds folder, select everything (or use Ctrl+A) and Cut (also Ctrl+X)
-go to the new folder and Paste (or Ctrl+V)
-sort everything in the way you like (i.e by file name, or size or whatever you prefer using windows default sort functions)
-select, cut and paste everything over back to the nds folder
-get rid of the newly created folder(optional)

It seams complicated but it's really a matter of a few seconds to do all of that, and since you are not really transfering anything to your PC, but merely transferring files between folders on your card, it really takes just a few seconds.
Enjoy!

Just a slightly faster method:
- Create a new folder
- Go into your NDS folder, press Ctrl-A, then Ctrl-X
- Go into the new folder, press Ctrl-V
- Delete the NDS folder
- Rename the new folder to NDS

It requires only one cut & paste

I knew about that one, but it baffles me as to why this isn't done by default. Anyone with a modicum of usability knowledge would have it sort by name automatically, unless there's a technical issue I'm not cognizant of.

Well, from what I've heard from my parents, he had a seizure last night, perhaps an epileptic episode, fucking died, had a near death experience, my dad called the paramedics, they showed up, took him to the hospital, and he woke up covered in tubes, and started complaining.
