Howcome everytime I turn on my M3 Lite, it shows the screen saying something about autosave NDSSAVE failed. BTW I'm using it only for GBA ROMs. Is there anyway to remove it?

It may be that your battery is dead. But I don't own one of those M3 Lite Perfects.

I believe the mechanism goes as such:
1) Saves are written into the RAM
2) The save is written into your MicroSD card when you restart your DS.

Saves aren't written into the SD during game-play to maintain good performance.
To keep your save in the RAM 'alive', a battery is necessary to keep the RAM with a current.

You might not even have save files created. You need to run the roms through the game manager to create save files automatically. Alternatively you may copy a blank save and name them.

Ok this is exactly what it says.

"Warning! GBA GAME SAVE in card but CANNOT find AUTOSAVE backup file. Backup fail! Press A to continue."

what's this mean? how do I get rid of it?

This happened to me once, just remove the sav and game it mentions. After that turn it on and off until it goes away.

I fixed it.

So because I started up the GBA game when it was I had both my Simply and Lite cards in. Apparently it loaded the save into the NDS Sram so what I did to fix it was created a folder NDSSAVE and inside I made a new .dat of the game. When I started the M3 it flushed the Sram and dumped the save in the new .dat. I then proceeded to delete the .dat file.

QUESTION! Is there a proper way to exit our a game? I may be doing it wrong because I just shut off the system and when it turns on it says auto backup failed.
