Hacking M3 LITE lost password for gba mode

Hey, I was trying to go in gba mode on my m3, but it asked for a password. My 4 year old nephew must have putted the password on. Is there anyway I can get out of it or reset it?
If I can't do that, then I would have a non working M3 lite slot 2 cart.

I suppose you could copy all your game and save files to the computer, reinstall the firmware then put the files back on. Would that work? (I don't have an M3Lite but this generally solves the problem)
