The reason I want to write a guide is because all of the other guides ended up sucking due to no one actually writing a guide, but referring people to other places. Then, people would read various things, ask various questions, then it would turn into a 100 post piece of crap full of people's *THEORIES* on how things should work, as opposed to a solid guide.

I got more than pissed off when searching for this stuff a long time ago. I do not want to be like the jerks who screwed everything up by making up theories and telling everyone to "google it."

EDIT: Now I want to figure out how to convert action replay codes to dipstar. I ran across something called AR Crypt, but again with the whole "no one will write a guide, but will be more than happy to make things up while also informing you that google has the answer."Â

It's me again, I had a look at Destructobot's guide and got to the part where you load dipstar onto your M3(though his guide is for a G6) then you select it on the M3 and try to load it, when I do, the loading bar flashed up for like a second, then it was just plain black on the screen. Does anyone know where I've gone wrong??

I've never used a slot 2 M3 so I can't say for sure, but it sounds like you are either pressing the wrong button when you try to load dipstar.ds.gba, or you are doing it in the wrong "mode". You don't want to run dipstar.ds.gba, you want to load it into the M3's RAM the same way you would load a GBA game for DS GBA linkage.

There should be some place in the M3's menu where you can find dipstar.ds.gba, select it and press A once to load it into RAM, then select the DS game (possibly by going into a different menu) and start it.

All right! I tried it all over again and got it to work this time, I think I might have dipped the wrong file or something, but it's working now! I used that guide on dualscene that Fondue linked to, and had another look over Destructobot's and it does make sense, I can't figure out what I did wrong the first time.
