Hacking M3 DS REAL Skin problem

I wanted to make a (pikachu) M3 DS REAL Skin
but when I wanted to test it the top desktop looks really Creeeepy and the other deskopt is the default M3 DS REAL picture


I NEED HELP

You'll need to save it as an Indexed 8-bit BMP, not the regular 24-bit.

Thanks I fixed it
The desktop.bmp must be 24-bits
and the top_desktop.bmp must be 8-bits

now I can finish it
