thus in this case, it will control the "DS". and the term we use for an "Operating System" that controls the "DS" is a "firmware". So in the end, Inunah's claim is correct. Since this program does not do this, it will merely be just an organization tool. DSO, on the other hand, although claimed to be an organization tool (thus, DSOrganize), allows the user to run homebrew apps directly from DSO, which is closer to an OS than your program here. Finally, if it can't be better than DSO, or have a feature that is not included with DSO already, there is no point in trying this.mmuziek said:An operating system is the software on a computer that manages the way different programs use its hardware, and regulates the ways that a user controls the computer.Inunah said:So.. Any reason I should get this instead of Wood R4? I mean, the only thing now that would make me replace Wood R4 would be a firmware that lets you play N64 games or PSP games. LOL And that'll NEVER happen.![]()
EDIT: My bad if this isn't a firmware...But your marketing makes me think it is.
i did never say that this is an firmware.?
M OSDS < operation system
full with nice tools and applications
...operating system is misleading. If it can't have people make apps/tools/widgets for it, its not an operating system, rather just another organization tool. Quoted directly from wikipedia before you give me an intelligent remark like you did to most others in this thread:
