M.A.M.E won't load!

I downloaded mame 0.188 and I tried to load it but all i get is a flash of a black screen and then back to my desktop. I dunno what to do. When I run without compatibility mode, it freezes my system forcing reboot. I'm running windows 10 Pro 64 Bit with the 64 bit download.

Use RetroArch with MAME cores. They hardly even work so you might get pissed if it crashes endlessly but one core will work.
