Yes yes it's on right now!! So who has seen it??

P.S. - People living in the US, don't bother posting, it's daylight over there lol.

Still daylight here, also cloudy, can't see the moon from either side of my house and I'm not sure what direction it should even be in at this time of the evening.

You don't have to go up to the mountains to view this eclipse! A total lunar eclipse is taking place TODAY June 15, 2011. It is the first of two such eclipses in 2011, the second occurring on December 10, 2011.
This is a relatively rare central lunar eclipse where the center point of Earth's shadow passes across the Moon.
The eclipse will be visible rising over South America, western Africa, and Europe, and setting over eastern Asia. In western Asia, Australia and the Philippines, the lunar eclipse will be visible just before sunrise.

i see it!!! idk about you guys but where i live its a hoilday today cause of the lunar eclipse

My friend James and I were out walking one night and we caught a glimpse of the moon through the fumes from a fire at the local chemical factory. Looking directly through the fumes made the moon look blood red. I figured it out. He on the other hand, fresh from a Final Fantasy 8 playthrough and being an utter moron, was convinced it was the Lunar Cry and we were all about to get eaten by evil moon fiends.

Is the eclipse visible here in the UK?

I saw it about an hour ago here. It wasn't blood red, more of an orange-ish colour. Still awesome, though.

@Blaze - Unfortunately, nope. It's current visible in Dubai, India, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Iraq, Iran, Bahrain (where I am), Israel, Palestine, China, Philippines and other Asian countries, even Australia as far as I'm aware. About UK not sure, maybe some UK resident can confirm?
