So i just bought a 3DS today, and it came with CFW Luma. However, when I wanted to patch the games I play, I noticed there is no 'luma' folder on the SD card.
Should I create it manually?

Luma should create that automatically (unless booting from failsave boot.firm on CTRNAND).

Unkown status because of previous modding by another person isn't the best.

Please just start here:

I've already tried it out, but the patch still doesn't work. There might be something missing. I'll try another approach
Hold (Select) on power on to get Luma3DS version. Additionally any fairly recent version will tell if it was booted from SD or CTRNAND at the bottom of the lower screen while in the settings menu.
Patches on SD probably don't work when booting from NAND.

It told me it booted from b9s before and now it says booted from the SD card after I replaced the boot.firm. It's working fine now, thank you for your assists
