i don't know if anyone cares about this game anymore or if it's already cracked it open, but I need help trying to edit values. I recently replayed through the game, and I've been wanting to try to hack in the scarescraper ghosts into my file. Since this game is dead, I've been stuck doing single player scarescraper, and I'm fed up after getting a ghost I've already captured for the 6th time in a row. Needless to say, this game has a checksum that is very annoying to try and crack, and I've had no luck so far. Using two nearly identical save files I think there is 2 different checksums nearing the beginning of the file(looks like CRC-32), but I have no idea what the algorithm is so its not very helpful. I'm very new to hex editing so I barely know what I'm looking at. If anyone already has a save editor for this game or the algorithm for the checksum that would be greatly appreciated.
