Hacking LU65 Menu 4.0U Homebrew applications.

My friend and I have been trying to hack his Wii all day. He has a Serial Number LU65 Wii that is currently updated to 4.0U

First we tried this:

We got to step 12 and we realized that, that only works with 3.4 so now we're totally lost. We just want to install homebrew and be able to use apps...

Would anyone be able to point us in the right direction? We've looked all around, thought we may have found tings, but weren't sure and I've finally resorting to asking straight out.

just a note cios rev12 is out now too, its lu64+ compatible.
cios rev13 is out but both rev13a and rev13b broke my hdd loading so i revirted back to rev12
