Ok... I am the owner of a PSP Cfw 5.03 Prometheus
I once had this issue that i lost free sd card space (MB)
somehow on odd ways.
Digimon World 3 PSX2PSP...
Had this game played it. and once it denied working
then it crashed and it dissapeared...i was looking for it to delete...deleted it and Congratulations..i just lost 800 mb free space for a 16 gig card
yesterday! the issue was worser..
i downloaded Dragonball Z Shin Budokai: Another Road
and it never appeared...worser
The Next List has been destroyed/deleted/corrupted:
1. Super Robot Wars A Portable (1.4 GB)
2. Dragonball Z Shin Budokai: Another Road (700 MB)
3. Gundam Assault Survive (Translation) (800 MB) (I Actually managed to clear free space with this)

so i just lost 2.1 Gigabyte free space more... making up for a loss of a total 2.9 Gigabyte....
HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELP

Copy all your files off your SD card, then use Panasonic's SD Card Format utility.

See if that fixes you up.

Yes the Panasonic MicroSD formatter is fine for sticks used in an adapter for the PSP, although you'll need to go through setting it up again.

Backup data. Use Panisonic SD Formatter. Go into System Settings on your PSP. Press cross on Format Memory Stick. Put all file in there respective places. Then remember that its "an" when the next word starts with a vowel

A quicker, less painful way to try first is emptying your trash bin (works on pc and mac)

not to troll or anything, but maybe put a post at the end saying you fixed it, but also in the opening post too... not the third post down...
later

why 0_0 ? it seemed to work at others =3 meh anyways Fixed and formatted and even added some of the games which deceased...not to speak softly of how many more died >,
