Hacking Loose hinge on DS?

My DS sorta rattles when it's closed too, but i'm not really worried about it.

Might be a dumb question,
I have the same problem, my ds is reallllly broken now @ the hinge part, it's so annoying I had to mguyver it if you know what I mean.

Would buying a nds replacement case help fixxing it?
- i'm not longer under warranty , I lost my receipt too so It's a no win situation :\

Even if it's not warranty and you don't have a receipt doesn't mean you can't get it fixed :\
You just have to pay more...

You could get a replacement case and risk fixing it yourself but you do run the risk of killing your ds and turning it into a brick >_>

Best way is to buy a new one or get it fixed by Nintendo, even though that's exp..

Buying a replacement case off the internet could work, from the looks of it it's not actually very hard. You just need to be careful disassembling your DS, and you should be fine.

My hinge is cracked. No warranty either. Guess you should stick with it if it's still playable...

Same here, Hinge under the R button.

Yeah it's still playable, but I'm planning to buy a new anyway if I fail putting on the replacement case.
I mean what's 20€ to try, if it works I'll be done a lot cheaper.
