Hacking Looking to buy a 3DSXL, have some questions about my flash card.

That Fire Emblem game looks mighty tempting, and Shadow Dragon doesn't cut it for me. So I've been thinking it's time to upgrade. But I had some questions first.

One idea is I beat all the DS games I have to beat, and not put my flash card in my 3DS. Is that TOO irrational? Is it okay to use the flash card in the 3DS? I see Nintendo is putting out updates to block flash cards (and mine is blocked on the most recent revision, an Acekard 2i), but will they ever harm my system for having used one?

On the other hand, I am very upset to hear my beloved DS alarm clock is not on the 3DS. I might keep my DSi as an alarm.

Just looking for feedback/ideas/encouragement. Sorry if this type of question is common here! And thank you!!

well flashcards offer nothing more on a 3DS or DSi than they do a DS Lite or Phat because its only DS Mode they work in

i personally keep my DS Phat for flashcards and 3DS for 3DS software

Nobody's ever had their system bricked or damaged for using a flash cart.
