Does anyone know where the java port for DS is? I can't find it anymore....
You mean java to watch youtube?
Youtube is flash.
Anyways, I haven't heard of anything like this. I thought Java was far too resource-hoggy to be usable on a DS.
Java!? On the DS? HAHAHAHA! OMG! NICE JOKE! :´D
It was done, I remember the newspost:
edit: and for giggles the flash "port". SWF rather than anything that can play FLV or one of the other formats youtube spits out.
Thanks fat... err, fast.
lol I got mixed up there ya flash is for youtube.
The one FAST posted is the original Java runtime port for the DS which will let you run very basic Java programs (best part is that it works very well in iDeaS so just patch kvm.nds with the R4 DLDI file and then testing becomes easy). PSTROS is a modification of the Java4NDS program that implements the MIDP library used for mobile phone games, allowing you to play back some of those games on the DS.
I know, I'm a Java programmer and thats why I wanted to know.
