so heres the deal. currently i have on my main pc, Big Box Premium running from an external 8tb. i also have a raspberry pi 3 b+ running retropie and im setting up another pc that will be running batocera. my question is, do i really need to have 3 instances of every game. in other words is there a way for me to share my 8tb big box drive and have retropie on my raspberry pi and batocera on the other pc access the same games over a network? any help at all is appreciated. thanks in advance.

You could potentially mount the network share and allow access that way, just setting folder locations in the emulators to the share. But the biggest potential issues I could see is how each emulator handles game saves as well as loading speed for games which are streamed from the source.
