ROM Hack looking for some pokemon ap patches

so I'm going to start playing pokemon haven't played one since emerald so I'm going to start with pokemon pearl then platinum then heartgold but the problem is that I have an r4i-sdhc redbox and the games randomly freeze so are there any ap patches for those pokempn games if there is an ap patch for the version 1.0's or something post them thanks in advanced
