Hacking Looking for GBA flashcard only

I was looking for a GBA flashcart, but I only want one that works on the GBA alone. I want to be able to play games on my GBA without requiring a DS flashcart or anything like that.

My brother had a SuperCard SD when they first came out--is there anything better than that available? I know the Final Fantasy games lagged.

I love my M3 perfect with the 4gb minisd but I've been using my EZ-Flash 3in1 a lot in mt GBA.

I'm at my wits end... i got the EZ-Flash IV ($40+) and for the life of me i cannot get the freak to work properly in my GBA SP!!! I googled and youtubed and GBATemped ad nauseum and still i can not get it to work.

I get the darth vader screen and managed to change the language to english after half an hour, even used the client to transfer my roms - but when i go to play a game all i get is a white screen.

I am not a n00b by any means and the fact that i cannot figure this out is making me C R A Z Y

any help would be terrific.....

I thought the M3 slot 2 only supported 2 gb. What 4 GB mini SD card works?

The standard sized EZ-Flash IV is a great cart. It can run Mother 3. The downisde is that it uses Mini SD which is an uncommon US card format, you'll need to find a Micro SD with adapter.

They are all dirt cheap, pick whatever you want. Exceptions to pirce are CycloDS Evo, iPlayer, SCDS2 and EX4i.

The farther back you go the more expensive things get.

Why doesn't it say how big of flash bleepbloop is? well I guess I could look up the part # on that AMD flash chip. I'm guessing that it isn't very big. $70 sheesh. That EMS cart is a much better deal. I don't remember EMS making a cart witha USB port built straight into it. Who plays this stuff anyway. My GBC + flash carts have been just sitting in the back of a drawer for numerous years.

DANG! i think i will give up on getting a flashcart for everything and just stick with my R4 and soon to be SCDS2

What kiind of flash media are you using?
My friend has the EZ IV and he tried to use a microSD with an adapter and we couldnt get it to work for the life of us. We ended up purchasing a cheap miniSD card and that solved the problem. For some reason the EZ IV would not recognize the microSD even though it had the adapter.

Just figured I would mention this to possibly save you some time.
