Is this cheat database still available? I don't plan on playing Japanese games ever, so I'd like to save some space by deleting cheats for games I won't play. If it's not available how would I go about editing it so there are no Japanese cheats?

first of all...not all games will actually appear on U/E~!
most likely, you won't see yugioh + pokemon
this is the reason why it is abandoned

however, you have a couple of solutions and answer to you how to remove them on the following link

or try the not so stable r4 unofficial firmware 1.20 (it fixed the cheat bug)

Don't make em anymore. Get R4cce and grab a usrcheat.dat and start removing the japanese cheats. Then save it as a cheat.dat.

Yup, i can assure you u/e is dead~!
only those people who doesn't know the limitations of u/e is still making and posting it on some places..

the new question would be
why i don't see codes for pokemon and i am using u/e!

Yeah .... @ Oval: Go delete a bunch of cheats for games you will never play as well.
Er is the cheat limit 800 for the r4 elixir?

i didn't test the threshold but i was told it is indeed 800 and the file size should not exceed 4MB
