Hey just looking for some advice. I am looking to get a computer for school next year so I can take notes easier. I was thinking of getting something along the lines of the eeePC 1000HE. Does anyone have an eeePC that they can give me some pros and cons for? Maybe something else, I am just unsure of anything else along those lines. I am not looking to spend any more then $500.

The eeePC 1000 HE is a good choice...it is cheap, has a good keyboard, has a long battery life and uses the N280 Atom
Netbooks are good for things which don't need a lot of processing power (like games, HD movies) so taking notes would be an easy task for this netbook + you've got alot of battery life
The 1002HA looks nice, but it's useability isn't as good as the 1000HE because it hasn't got the advantages mentioned above
