he was just giving an opinion and info.
in his first post the sarcasm was unneeded and he could talk in a more friendly manner, but in the next post he explains his concerns and tries to warn OP about possible situations..
he talks in a rude way but what he says is a good advice and can be usefull information..
it's a fact theese "nintendo special devices" are nintendo's property.. but IMHO i don't think you will get into problems..

anyway.. i think you did a good purchase OP. i wouldn't pay 300 ducks and can't see why i wanted a bulky demo player but it's something that not everyone can get their hands on it and it's cool...
sadly you didn't get the other parts? like the tv stand, neither the wii motes or the anti theft system?

Just scored three demo discs to update my console with some more demos.

If you can, don't update your console until you can dump the demos. Those demos could be really nice to look at and analyze for unused content or in-production content.
