Hacking Loadiine GX2

The first post says you can't play online but it seems like an old post, is this still the case? What does this mean for Super Mario Maker? Does this mean you can't download/upload any levels either?

You can't play online with loadiine. So if you want to download/upload levels, use your disc/eshop game.
 
I have a problem for mario color , eu fix the game work fine but the arrived ship a port crash

and tested 2 different isos same result

I have 5.5.1 version and Loadiine-nightly-b80ba75, all games work ok , i need help .

Reformat your SD card, it's working fine here with full sound and everything on EUR 5.5.1 (Another guy said he has no sound in places, mines fine USA Copy with EUR fix)

Should clarify, I'm 10 hours in but stopped cos I'mma buy it.
 
on the main Post it says Art Atelier is the same as smash, Does that mean i can use Art Atelier to use the Update/DLC instead of Smash?

edit: it seems for me 'US' its called Art academy Home Studio, and PAL its Art Academy Atelier, will it still work

My smash 4 has all DLC unlocked i just downloaded a modded iso with the txt files altered to unlock all characters/stages ect and make sure the latest update is instaled....

wish hyrule warriors was as easy to get DLC running lol ;(

i connected tv do not fail, simple solution!
 
Hey guys,

Just a quick update on the whole manual thing. I indeed managed to redirect the game manual (as a poc, not fully implemented) so the correct one could be loaded, however after discussing it with the other devs, we decided not to implement it for now.

The reason is that it is currently not possible to access files on the sd card through the home menu (missing IOSU permissions) so we would have to copy the game manual before starting a game in Loadiine to a temporary folder onto the internal flash drive to make it work.

With that approach a few problems arise, such as

a) significantly longer game loading times (SMM's manual is around 80MB, for example, that would have to be copied on each launch) and most importantly

b) lots of unnecessary write cycles on NAND. It's not meant to be used as a temporary file storage, and honestly, I wouldn't want to be responsible for any NANDs slowly degrading because of such a tiny feature.

I saw this question coming up quite often, so I hope this clears up any misconceptions. As long as an alternative approach to copying to NAND does not appear (On-the-fly replacement in memory does not seem feasible due to wildly varying file sizes and a few other things) it will stay the way it is at the moment.

Do you just place the www folder from the source .zip into apps/loadiine_gx2? Then load directly into loadiine? I can't seem to get MK8 DLC working.
No you have to put the gx2 mod www files into your self hosting www folder on your pc hard drive, if your using a hosting site then you will need to set up your own because they wont have it set up to use on theres.

I think the reason you could only use DLC with Smash mode was because it read the DLC you have installed on your Wii U.
I have not got any dlc installed I'm using the new gx2 mod not this gx2.

I'm talking about how the OG GX2 worked.

I'll have to read up on self hosting. Luckily I found the sticky thread, so hopefully I can work it out on my own.

As I wrote in the quoted post, we can't redirect the manual path directly to the sd card, we would have to save it temporarily on internal storage. I'm not sure if you mean something else?
 

Looking at his GitHub, yes, that is the one that loads pirated DLC. The link to the binary (the right-most link) from the link you provided will have that feature enabled. You do not need to download the newest source and then compile it yourself.

The last two revisions were for GUI graphics and spelling legitimate correctly [in English] (instead of legitimet)
