Hacking Loadiine GX2

any chance it will download the vc covers for me? i tried but i guess it either hasnt got those images yet or it wont work because the title ID doesnt match?

there are so many posts. Thanks for all the testing. I am really short on time today and wont get to read all comments sorry. Maybe someone is kind enough to sum the results up?....or i will just read them tommorow.

Anyway, I made a little silly mistake just before creating the build i gave out. Should have checked it better than just try to launch once after the last change.

Here is a build where the re-entering of mii maker is fixed:

Super Smash Bros U no longer loads.

Thanks do you mean that the game does not load in mii maker mode or do you mean that the smash bros launch mode does not work? I just tested the 2nd and it works fine and should have worked in the previous build as well. As for the first I did not try that.

that's because loadiine is currently using ID6, and Virtual consoles TitleID are only ID4

I think ID4 support should be added quickly so users can get the correct covers directly from gametdb.
ID6 for wiiU games
ID4 for VC games

You broke something else lol

Now when you choose a game it's kick you out to MiiMaker app > press home > main menu > click MiiMaker again > it's start the game directly without loadiine interface
hmmm, for me it's working fine.
I selected "Super Mario Bros U" - pressed A - played that game.
exit
run MiiMaker again, and select "Yoshi Wooly World" - played that game and so on with all games on my SD

Maybe I misunderstood what's your error. If so ...sorry ;)
 
Compatibiliy is increasing in GX2...or haven't your read the last two pages?

I have now, looks like progress! I assumed GX2 just incorporated into Loadiine code for GUI but its shaping up to be the evolution.

I'm on 5.3.2, has GX2 had any effect on Wonderful 101 load times (saw a Youtube video of someone loading it in under 20 seconds, no information provided)?
Also any gains on the exploit fail rate? Does mp4 help in this area?

most ppl reported the reload loadiine gx2 through miimaker as being broken
I tried MK8 with it's latest update in miimaker mode and it didn't word (like with v4 ou previous gx2) (I know v0 works :))

A lot of ppl are asking about other fw support and posted their fw addresses several time, here's a repost
So, here it is for different firmwares ;)

For 4.0.0 (same for 4.0.2 and 4.0.3) :

Sorry It was my mistake
It was in SSB mode not Mii Maker mode :P

Thanks for summing up. So if old games are not broken I could commit the changes to the git. I will wait a day or two maybe and do it later, or just do a branch....

My guess for MK8 is that it doesnt work with mii maker because it requires online feature (olv key and account use) to be setup correct. This is done in smash bros mode and it is not done in mii maker. Its a different issue than splatoon and the amazing spider man.

For Loadiine over SD i need only to overwrite the loadiine elf on the sd ?
Because you have uploaded the Server version from loadiine.
 
@dimok I know i may be a little (shiny, tiny jk) bit harrasing to you but what about a little GX2 Tutorial (how to prints out a picture form a jpeg, png, 3D box etc...)

Or can just redirect me to a link where something is already writed or does it looks like OpenGL ? :)
 
Quick question is Splatoon working online
I know this sounds a bit Mr Obvious but are any games working for you online? :unsure:

Edit: I think we can both agree on the fact its just a pleasure for us all that Dimok got Splatoon working with GX2! I think that in itself was a massive hill to climb, let alone it being online.

So I have setup my new WiiU with firmware 5.3.2 and I wanted to try out this new Loadiine gx2. I put everything on my 64GB fat32 formatted Savetek SD card, in the correct folder, but when I try to go in the internet to the specific internet site and click on either kernel loading or the SD loading version, it gives me like 20 weird pixels on my screens and it just freezes to death. What could be the problem here?

Edit: Works now finally! But I cannot launch the games. They show up, but when I press a on a title, the wii freezes and the music is still playing...

If you're taking suggestions, I would be a fan of pro controller support on the menu. Also, this sounds minor but, if you're viewing the grid of square icons on the gamepad, it would be nice if when you are at the end of a row if you hit right on the analog stick/d-pad that it would go down and start at the beginning of the next row. Without this happening, it screws up the effect of flipping through 3d covers on the tv. It will just randomly stop moving over through the stack of games because you don't realize you've reach the end of a row on the gamepad.
