i Having problems to launch Mario Party 10 Eur on my 5.5.1 U console...just give me black screen everytime

I have a question for @dimok. As far as I understand, loadiine works by hooking file opening/reading system calls and redirecting such calls to the sd card instead of the disk. Wouldn't be possible then, to add an additional layer to the hooking process where files are loaded from a unique big file (like an ISO), by computing the right offset/sector and size. As I can see, the slow loading times are mostly due to the fact that when a game has many files in it, the game data gets fragmented in the SD card. Maybe by collecting all the files in one big contigous block and letting loadiine do the translation "file request" -> "ISO sector request" would improve the overall speed.
What do you think about it?
Yes it is definately possible and I though about something like that. I though of re-using the Wiis wbfs format with 4GB splitting due to FAT32 limitation. Not sure if this would be the way to go though. I am still not sure why people are talking about big loading times as the only game that I noticed unsual loading times on was SM3DW and the rest is even faster than disc. Maybe it is just the games that I tried or my SD card (UHS-I class formatted to 64K cluster size). Though I didn't get past the title screen of the games since november last year actually and I got my WiiU in october ;).

Hey @dimok . I didn't try this on the newest build, but if you do anything while it's loading a game (such as going into options), it'll crash (The "Stack Dump" type crash). Found this out while I was trying to get this stupid v64 update to work.. Need to lock all buttons, via touch screen or key pads, from messing out that load XD
This should be fixed with new builds You should re-try it. Same goes for the crash when a game is left and loadiine gx2 is re-entered and the games menu is opened again.

@dimok , are there any plans to integrate auto updating for the app? Or is that not possible right now?
Of course it is possible and it is not even complicated or would take long. But first there has to be some server hosting it. Not sure if we should use github for that. For now it is not worth it though as there are almost no releases and making an auto updater for nightlies is definately not going to happen as nightlies are instable builds and even possible to not run at all. If you don't want to get out the SD card every time just use SendElf or ftpiiu in homebrew launcher.

I've an idea for the DS Virtual Console to use with loadiine...

- user make a folder with zipped nds backups
- user copy a ds vc game to wiiu/games
- loadiine instead of showing this game show a "nds vc" item
- loadiine show a list of the files from nds backups folder
- user choose a nds game from the list
- loadiine copy the chosen game zip to wiiu/games/dsgame/content/0000/rom.zip before start the game
- loadiine start the game

doing so we can load any ds backup and in the save folder every save/state is different

what do you think? ^^
Isn't that something that @n1ghty was working on? I don't know if this belongs into loadiine gx2 but I will talk to the others about it.

Hi Guys!

@dimok I created the hungarian.lang file for Loadiine GX2 a month ago but it's crashed the Loadiine GX2.. maybe because of accents i don't know. If someone can fix it that would be nice if not that's okay too.

Alright thanks. Might be the format (must be UTF8 w/o BOM). I will run the auto language merger "make lang" through it and commit it to github. Check out that file after its on the github and see if it is still causing you issues.

Sorry if I forgot to answer to some question but there are just too many posts and if I would read all of them I would get to nothing else. To those that were asking about the VC screen settings I might get to it eventually but I would need a VC game first which I dont have and it is not at the top of my priorities. It is not lost in the posts though.

Many games have loading speed problems and I have a UHS-3/64k cluster card (64GB). It doesn't break them but degrades the experience to the point where I'd just rather put in the disc. Just loading to title screen you wouldn't see it, but there are games that load slowly throughout the game, 3DW as you mentioned, Yoshi's Woolly World has slow stage loading, Twilight Princess HD has 10-15 seconds between area changes. Captain Toad has pauses/stuttering audio and Bayo 2 has unsync'd audio both of which I'm nearly sure are caused by slower than expected loading. Several games even seem to have file verification checks in their boot up process (W101 and Star Fox Zero), which can take 15 minutes to over an hour. These two are fixable by modding the game data but I feel like a file check should be easily remediable with a virtual file system.

Granted it (sounds like) a lot of effort for something that might make no impact in the loading speeds, but I really hope you consider trying.

Ok, I'll see if it does it. And if it loads Minecraft, as yesterday's didn't.

edit: Oh.. There hasn't been a new build yet. I guess I'll test it anyways.

EDIT 2:Yeah. Last night's build (e71fb52) still does it. After tapping "Ok" (loading the client.rpx), tapping som'in else, like options and leaving it will crash the system. I'm also still getting error 150-3034 on launch of Minecraft on this build too. I reverted back to build 0703597 to return to playing it. This is without turning on Versions and DLC. Not like I can get v64 to work for some stupid reason...

Pokken Tournament needs some time in some parts because the many small .DRP files. Other parts are super fast.

I am having the same problem, I think i did everything correctly, I used uwizard to extract the game and loadiine game installer to add it to the sd card. tittle and everything is correct, i am stuck at a black screen though.

Any suggestion is greatly appriciated

Play the US version on your US console maybe ?
That's pretty tough to do, as all searches is almost always a Eur copy of some game.. believe me, I looked T~T All I wanted was a US copy of ZombiU so I can port my save file and play it again T~T

Yeah, but nothing will read it... cause my ex accidentally sat on it >.> He didn't want to pay to replace it...

I would if Nintendo would stop stealing my Youtube revenues. My only source of income at the moment >.>

Continuing in PM's, to stop derailing XD

I've been having an issue with the Update for minecraft though. v64 seems to lock up at Boot (Smash Mode), while no patch loads fine. Finally understanding how to use JNUSTool, I got everything that I'm supposed to have proper at least.

What version of the game do you use and what version of the patch do you use? US/EUR?

To use JNUSTool : open the JAR file, click on the game you want, click on OpenFST, check all checkbox (root + 3 folders), click on "download".
After this, you have your "update" folder.
