Hacking load gamecube backups from USB?

My Wii has a D3-2 drive, so officially I don't have any chance to play GameCube backup games ! Poor me !

not it was made by emuukidd back ages ago it sucked its buggy and slow and compat blows and u need a usb gecko

Well I own an USBGecko, but I cant find any USB-Boot Application on the net I want to try this out very bad

Nevermind, I got it now, but my Wiimote desync when loadet USB-Boot =/

Perhaps you need to control it with, say, a gcn controller.

GC Controller is not working for some reason

I have tried the USB-Boot as well, and I am in the same situation as you. After launching, pressing A does not work on GC controller.

I have a friend with a Wavebird controller, I think I am going to try it sometime to see if it is the gamecube controller that makes this work.

are you guys using an official wired pad? Ill try with one aswell as a ps2 to GC adapter
You also have a GC disc in the drive?

I have one official blue (or purple?) gamecube controller that came with the gamecube.
Another White one.
And 2 MadCatz controllers. None of them work.
I have tried legit gamecube discs and burned gamecube discs in the drive. Nothing seems to work, I have tried a lot of things.

I respect your opinion but I didn't think it sucked or was slow. I tried it out with 4 or 5 games and all loaded and worked fine without audio/video glitches. I realize comparability isn't a 100% and I must of just been lucky with my game picking.

I was patiently waiting the official release of 0.4 but emuukidd is busy with other projects. But for people who want to run GC games without burning them, this is the easiest/cheapest way to go for now. I think it's a good project and I wish more time would be invested into it.

@icyrainz ,you could always replace your dvd drive i ve seen them for like 40-50$ us and sell your od 1 on ebay to someone that doesnt care bou moding or if you really daring just get a new motherboard for your drive and swap it out
