Hacking load gamecube backups from USB?

just wonderin what does bc mean,, binary code? boot code?
also if you have a wode what kind of loader programs are there ,like is there a nice onscreen 1 like
usbloadergx or wiiflow where you can get box art or put art in yourself like the nes emu or can you only use the lcd screen or would it be onscreen txt based,iask because i still havent modded my wii and i want to if should soft mod or get a chip plus i think my dvd drive is broke it wont read any discs too bad my wii is one of the 1st ones produced

Forget about the WODE its too expensive for nuthing. Get a refurb wii from gamestop. Youll have then 2 wiis!!! one more wiimote.... alternatively you can look into the SDboot an BIG 5$ investment at dealextreme.

ok thanks sao ill check it out i was looking at plans to build this gamecube memory to sd card reader to boot gc software, but does anyone know about a way to use a loader like an onscreen loader likww wiiflow/usbloaderGX does anyone know if there is something like that for wode i think it might be worth it if i could load gc roms from an onscreen menu with box art ,i didnt think 80 bucks was that much
but not if i can softmod for free or get a chip for 30 ,im really leaning towards softmod but i thinK if i was going to get a chip i would go with wode seems to be the best 1 ,i also like the one that connects between the ribboncables/connectors of the drive and wii not sure if has better features than the rest but looks super easy to install not that the snapon ones look all that hard,and no i wouldnt get a new wii from gamestop ,i think i would rather spend the money on a new dvd drive and a wode ,plus i only car about a drive to play burnt discs and no gaurantee a wii from gamestop wont have a d3-2 drive, oh and for ripping i guess
