Hi, I was wondering this for quite some time: If we want to play DS backups on our 3DS we still need to use a DS flashcart. Well, no problem there, I have a Supercard DS2. But still, I'm wondering we never anyone coded a homebrew that is able to load DS Roms from SD card. I mean, it is quite a logival step. Is there any technical reason why this is not possible or extremely difficult to achieve? Or did the dev just dont think that something like this is important?

All the progress was made was injecting a whole game in the 3ds dsi partition or something like that..
There is no way to load games from the SD card as seen in that thread posted above..
We have an emulator and forwarders to ds card, we can even load blocked ds cards

The closest thing we have right now is twloader which only boots ds homebrew games from the sd card but not backup games.

Hello, just want to ask on whats the plan running nds games on 3ds?

Will it be:
-Injecting the whole .nds file to a .cia
-Or a .cia loader that detect the location/file name of the .nds on sd?

Thanks.

sooon sooon .....and as i said 6 month ago , emulator was a waste of time...THIS IS THE PATH, near is so optimistic , so low compatibility and a large boot time , but at least the path is the correct.

thx to all the sceners for work on this way, and forget dat useless emu

i pray that 33c3 accelerate this process

Greetings
