The hinge closing can be emulated now, so games like The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass and Trace Memory can be played.

No, it can still not run Pokemon Diamond and Pearl, so stick with v2.4c.

Castlevania DOS dont run yet. For Zelda PH... go to no$gba's options and Set it to FLASH 512kbytes and save options then reset cartridge in no$gba's emulator. Be warn about speed slow down.. BUY DS or deal with it until speed improvement in the near future.

For Castlevania dos... try ideas 1.0.1.9 beta and set it to 512 kbits EEPROM.

ENJOY!

no$GBA is up to 2.5 now.

It supposed to have speed ups, but i'm playing a game that ran pretty fast in 2.4e and f, now it's going slower.

If you test some more... Castlevania por and dos is now playable and slower speed. Few other that I wont name is now playable with decent speed.. Speed varies, understand ? It is much better than 2.4f. Oh yeah, flickering is gone in new super mario bros and megaman battle network 5 ds. It's improvement thanks to me from some friends helped me out reporting to no$gba developer. Yeah, it's me aka rockmanrotties.

Dualis - (Current Version R20.4 - 05/27/2007) - Runs demos and E3 demos but does not run any final commercial games at all according to the site, first to attempt sound emulation

Please check this link. The link isn't working or no longer available at all. Just let you know that's all.

Oh, ok. Thank you.

EDIT: This version will be available in the next version if the developer willing to because he now know what's wrong with those games being crashed and.. I can't believe is this Megaman ZX is perfectly 100% and Megaman ZX Advent is nearly perfectly 100% since I am playing it right now on no$gba 2.5 with special code in it and I am almost finish with ZX Advent.. Why near perfectly for Megaman ZX Advent ?? Look below for why. Anyway, this developer is very amazing and he is soooo good !!!!!
biggrin.gif

Look:

No$gba 2.5 with a code patch.

Megaman ZX run fully playable with good sound and great speed!

Megaman ZX Advent run fully playable with disorted sometimes and infamous transparency.

Drool while you can!

How come when I try and run different roms on the DeSmuME emulator it just comes up with a white screen? I'm running version 0.7.3

So far I've tried xpa-dmtm.nds and Diddy Kong Racing.nds

Read above again. It run with a patch code I have. Please wait for the next version to fix it and if the next version is not release to fix it for SOME REASONS or DELAY some further then I will release code patch here but right now. I am showing you how great this emulator for now is all.

Might wanna be careful with that Rockman, some emu authors don't want to have their builds released before they feel they're ready. I had access to pre-release builds for DeSmuME and many times I was told not to put them out there until official release.

EDIT: I say that because last thing we wanna do is piss off the emu author with the best product right now because NO$GBA is by far the best one out right now.

EDIT 2: I changed the Dualis website on the first post and rearranged them in order of overall performance. NO$GBA the best, iDeaS second, DeSmuME third, etc

I know.

I am not stupid and no, this one is not from his build release yet. It was from Cheat code that fixed the bugs and already report to him. He now know how to fix it. It have nothing to do with build released before he feel he's ready.

dualscreenman,

Thank you. You are from other forum as me, lol. Nice to see you again!

can anyone tell me how do I fix the "data loading failed" problem?
I always get that message with NO$GBA, even though the roms work on iDeaS
You need to select the correct NDS backup media (save type) from the options menu. Just choose a savetype and reset (important) until you find the right one. The middle 8KB EEPROM one is a common one.
