Linux wont boot on laptop

I have two laptops at home. One of them was able to boot Linux from a USB stick successfully, until I accidentally destroyed it. The other one refuses to boot Linux. When I try booting Linux from a USB stick, it gives the error "Selected boot image did not authenticate. Press <Enter> to Continue." I tried disabling the TPM in the BIOS settings but it still does not work.

What are you using to make the USB drive? If regular tools like Rufus aren't working, try YUMI. YUMI works by installing the GRUB bootloader to your USB drive, and then it chainloads the distro's image
