Why does your life as a Rubik's Cube have a dark blotch on one of the white fields? Is it supposed to be symbolical, or is your Rubik's Cube just dirty?

I've always been curious about this. Would the 4-slot cubes be easier than the 3-slot cubes because they don't have a set position in the middle?

It's the logo thing. Every (real) Rubik's cube has one on a white side.

It's harder, in a 3x3 the center pieces don't move relative to each other, so you can't just say "Okay I'll start with the white side" since there is no white side (to begin with anyway)

Those 3 pictures are so true.

I gave up on rubiks when I was in middle school. Messed em up but forgot how to arrange it back.

Me too.
I can solve a 3x3 in about 39 seconds, I can solve a 4x4 in 2 minutes.
I've not bothered with them in ages, I used to be quite fast with (3x3 under a minute, 4x4 in under 4 and 5x5 in under 10) but I've completely forgetten a lot of algorithms now I wouldn't like to see my times anymore.

(If I can even solve them XD well the 4x4 and up that is)

Google a guide.

Make sure it's NOT a video though

One that uses things like "Ri Di R D" etc is what you want

I could probably put up a guide here if there's enough people wanting it?

Edit: why am I editing something after it's been quoted? Meh.
