Only with the awesome power of cooperation can we tackle this titan.
Where should click?

Rules: One move per post. A move may consist of one Left Click with a limit of 4 flags.
I will ignore obvious wrong answers, and substitute it with a flag.

See that uncovered field with the number 4? And there are only 4 adjacent covered fields? Flag them.

And click A1.

Flag the lower left corner one and click in the upper right corner
(I always click the corners before starting)
* Q: What kind of computer will run Vista smoothly?

The latest Cray supercomputer comes close (but you have to turn off Aero). At home, you'll need at least an 8-core Xeon processor with at least 16GB RAM, three NVIDIA GeForce GTX 295's in SLI, and at least 9001 GB of free hard drive space. Double those requirements if you want to play both solitaire and minesweeper.

Njrg, dude, we can't play this if you don't know left from right. But I thought he meant left from the 2, not the 3

Or thats how I was interpreting it because I was resistant of making the flag where I knew was the wrong place to put one
I was "trying" to get away with it. I was making the right choice for him because this game just started

BTW, the first click never has a mine in it.

Click 2 spaces below the 4 (or 3 from the bottom). If I can't see anything, I click randomly.

Unfortunately, I have to call "bullshit" on this theory.

(Yes, I'm that unlucky

Well, what version are you using? Because I'm pretty sure the XP version never has mines at the start.

EDIT: To clarify, my Windows 7 version also never has mines at the start. I set my game to "custom", and set mines to the maximum. Every single time, I never hit a mine. I have also tried Mines-Perfect, which allowed me to make a 3x3 board with 8 mines. Every time, I hit the lone square that didn't have a mine.

I wonder if that was the point of game streaming
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
    But it's a dead end
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@Psionic Roshambo, people who cant download it can still play the game
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
If your internet speeds are fast enough. Streaming 4k takes alot. I used to only have 20mb sec, and 4k struggled. Now I have 300mb sec and 4k plays fine.

@BigOnYa, i only have like 1 or 2 mb sec

Did you feed the hamster in your internet router? It prob died and is running slow now.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, why did you start saying my pc has a hamster in the first place?

Its actua!ly just a old joke, meaning its slow. Was just kidding around with you.

I think Game streaming should work like this.... Local Hardware able the run the game fine, game engine and common assets stored locally, all FMV and music and textures could be streaming

    Some temporary storage

also @BigOnYa im making some progress on my gdevelop project, implemented various mechanics

They went all in on streaming, should have been more of a hybrid approach

Or free government supplied high speed internet be nice also. Like Obama care. Xdqwerty that's cool, its time consuming but rewarding once done or playable, to see what you've made from scratch. Animations take forever, but worth it.

@BigOnYa, although the bullets are a bit buggy

Not to mention this would be a massive pain to pirate
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    @BigOnYa,
and the visual aspect of the game is quite crude (the sprite that looks best is that of the protagonist just because he is a stickman with sunglasses)

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
There is a bullets behaviour you assign to your character, that makes the code easier, under "behaviours"
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
i meant that when the character is pointing to the right, the bullets spawn where they should, but when he is on the right, they move to the right but the spawn point is incorrect
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Itch.io has lots of free assets also. Under the bullets behavior tab, there is a "rotate bullets" option, can try that. Or in the code can try
    - fire bullet Player.X(PlayerDirection)
