I doubt it, there has never been an SDK release for the consoles.

Wow, that's awesome. Even a noob can work out how to use SketchUp to make textures anbd buildings, and this means all the appliances and the like already made in SketchUp and hosted on Google are available as resources in Left 4 Dead. This could give rise to some pretty cool architecture guys (as seen in the pictures). I think I may even give this a go myself [IMG].

EDIT: In fact f**k me, if I still have that mighty cool house I had to design in SketchUp for work experience, I could turn it into a level!

You can't just go and make the Whole Level in SketchUp though. The Source Engine is a brush based engine and it will perform very shitty if you use models for everything. :|

SDK is always great, I love the Hammer Editor. Too bad I don't have the PC version of L4D. [IMG]

Point, I tried to do it earlier and the house I made is so polygon-heavy it just kept crashing. Oh well, it still means making architecture is that much easier.

I tried downloading it, but as soon as it finished, L4D said it was updating forever and I couldn't launch it, so I had to re-install L4D. Sadness.

    Same thread, same page.

Basically, no. It will run like shit. You can make parts of your map in sketchup though like objects for the skybox or simple buildings. [IMG]
