Chinese is a tough language to learn, but I can see it as the language of business in 30 years.
or right now?
the best way 2 learn a language is to move there

Well now, I never knew GBAtemp had such interesting members. XD

I too am Chinese, but my Chinese kinda sucks since like practically the only time I passed it was during finals in Secondary School.

It's a useful language to learn, since nearly everyone here converses in Chinese. A large percentage of Singapore are Chinese, after all.

(I sorta feel ashamed because my Chinese is so bad. D:)

One of my grandmother is Japanese.

One of your grandmother? She was cloned?

Where was the other clone of her raised?

Dude, do you know that a person is born with a father and a mother?

Now, assuming his father and mother each got a mother, how many grandmothers will he has?

A grandma from dad : 1
a grandma from mum: 1
1+1=2
so, there's no such a thing as "cloned grandma"

@flametakuya
no need to be ashamed, I got 5 in my languange test, and I got 9,2 in my english test. What is this world coming to?

Also, not only Chinese languange became used worldwide, Chinese people began to trade worldwide, what a good thing.
But still, for gamers it's Japanese and English

Actually, semantically speaking: "One of my grandmother" implies that he was referring to the same grandmother, but there are more than one of the same grandmother. Therefore: CLONE GRANDMAS! Now if he said: "One of my grandmothers" then he would be correct.

My Chinese has gotten worse too. I used to speak nothing but Chinese and even corrected my parents. Now I'm like WTF?!

I seem to be speaking Chinese more often now, but I can barely remember how to write the words...

Also, my English is worse now, seeing as I'm speaking Chinese and broken English more often.

My only hope are these message boards... Where I force myself to speak in correct English. (Which isn't even correct sometimes) ^^;

lol i was born in Taiwan, and came here when i was very young.
and my chinese sucks. I can speak and understand "basic ones" like when people speak it i can understand it. But when i watch the news i can't really.
i suck at reading and writing, so i was hoping if someone has traditional chinese, because i currently am studying traditional chinese.

Lol my Chinese is so bad, can't even remember how to write a lot of the words. I speak English at school and at home with my parents. But now I'm living with my grandparents who speak only Chinese, so I'm getting it back, hopefully.

Lol, I used to be fluent in Chinese when I was young. But now I only know English and some Japanese.

Learning it again shouldn't be too hard though.

lol I apologize for my poor grammar xD
And I'm a girl =D

Yeah.. I have the same problem as all of you guys. I moved to Canada when I was three and moved back to Taiwan/Asia when I was six and moved here again when I was nine... I do find my Chinese getting worse and worse, but my parents remedied that by making me take three hour private tutor Chinese classes >.

Apology accepted and my apologies for assuming that you were male.

I lived in China for a good year and my Chinese was at the prime during that time. The first week back from China and I already forgot nearly half of what I knew.
