Homebrew Latest emulator and libogc with 3rd party classic controller

Hey matguitarist, is there any chance of snes and fceu latest 3.1.8 and 4.2.0 with cover mod? I read its supposed to be added into official release but maybe its not now, tantric is pretty busy with wiimc i think.

i don't think i'll update the cover mod cause there lot of change in the files/folders since the cover mod was made ..... it could be long time to adapt to newers versions ... and i don't have to much time to do it

I don't have a lot of free time, wife + kid + job = not a lot of free time

I better use the time i have to do smaller project ... hope you understand. If i got more time maybe i'll do it

Just noticed that Tantric has updated his emus and the cIOS202, noting that the older cIOS202 would not be supported. I wonder if these mods (specifically wiisx/wii64) will work with the new cIOS202 or if they too will need updating. If nobody gets to testing I'll probably give it a try tomorrow morning.

Hi there,

I've tried matguitarist's Wii64 with USB2 support with the new cIOS 202 and it WORKS at USB 2.0 speed, but it doesn't benefit from the new feature which allows to use both USB ports, as expected.

For use both port i have to update the source and recompile it and everyone will need to update to new cios202.

I'll try to update it soon.

What specifically is wrong with it? I dont know of anyway to make it work with older ios202, but you could compile auto update out of the older one and not update I guess.

There is no setting to turn auto-update on/off, you will have to download the source for whichever version you want and change it yourself and compile it.

In the source open network.cpp and find the line

" static bool updateChecked = false;"
change it to
" static bool updateChecked = true;"
Then compile and your done. It should be the same with all 3 of the emulators

I use WiiXplorer a ton, So far ive been using hermes v4 merge 60 for my 202 and everything works, But my forwarder channels, wiixplorer, savegame manger,wiimc,emulators all use ios202, I didnt use tantrics old one cause this one worked with everything and i could get the channels list from wiixplorer cause its not 57 base. Im sad to hear new updates wont work and play well together

I dont wanna not update these Emulators or WiiMC ever again either so this is not a viable option to me.
