Thanks, I've tried that one in the past, seemed too much for my ageing reflexes. Maybe I should give it another go tho.
I've just been checking out his website and ended up playing Naya's Quest, what a headfuck :D

If got all of the trinkets in VVVVVV (especially "Veni, Vidi, Vici", you know which one I'm talking about) then you should be able to handle Super Hexagon. The key is to practice until you can beat each difficulty with ease, then moving on to the next one. The game has a very steep difficulty curve but I think it's worth it and the game is even better than VVVVVV in my opinion.

3DS game was Kid Icarus uprising.
Latest game played on my 3DS was Ghost Trick.
Both awesome games

Sega 3D Classics Shinobi 3.

It was FANTASTIC! Highly recommend it, if you grew up on those kinds of games.

I moved onto playing Shinobi (2011) on 3DS now which is also great. Totally underrated and overlooked game.

Super Mario 3D Land a couple of days ago. Although i didn't actually finish it, i didn't get all the stars and there are special worlds so there is more to do.

Incredible game, easily one of the best of this generation on any platform. Plus, for us who grew up with the NES, those Super Mario Bros 3 touches brought back wonderful memories...

Im sooo stuck on a certain part where you have to escort a guy across 3 platforms.

My brain farts completely. I don't have the reflexes to process it!

Yeah that's where I got stuck on the android version. Did eventually get through it on the 3ds but it took a lot of tries! If you can get yourself to the nook on the right then it's just a question of tapping the flip button twice in really quick succession to nudge the other guy from platform to platform.

The bit that took me the most tries tho was the "veni, vidi, vici" trinket. Literally added around a thousand deaths to my count....

You need to use the underside of the 3 platforms to get yourself to the bottom-right of the screen, then use quick inversions like hippy dave said to move your crew mate across 1 platform at a time. The annoying part is getting yourself back without dying.

This morning I played it and beat it with all trinkets with 324 deaths. Granted I've played it lots on PC. Pretty good port I must say. I like that one of the stages has remixed music compared to the original. It would have been cool if there was an option for a remixed soundtrack, kind of like what they did with Cave Story.

Picross e4.
Not an awful lot to discuss, it's Picross therefore it's brilliant, more Picross puzzles are always welcome. The two alternative game modes are fine too, one is more of a nice novelty but the other one with the big numbers adds some new strategies to learn.

Shantae was my recent last game. I got 100% in ~16h. I know that is slow to some but I only cheated on finding the last 2 secrets.

Finished Crono Trigger not so long ago...
I heard good things about it for a long time but never played it do to it being old and having newer stuff to play (I actually love retro gaming, but it's usually low on my priority list)
boy was I a fool to not play it until now, that game was so good! the pacing, story and combat were all top notch, even for a game that old.
the only drawback is the sound and effects (not the graphics per say , as pixel art has it's place) that can be a bit lacking when you do all the duel/triple techs.
love the multiple ending and all the little decisions you can make!

Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds :3 was really a nice game :D Yes, it was easy, but it was just perfect for me to go to when I couldn't quite concentrate on writing my paper :P
