Homebrew Lameboy Nds help. (Problem with sav files)

Okay, I've been playing Pokemon Crystal on my Pc and as a result have a perfectly nice .sav file.
(For those interested, I imported it as a battery file and then saved it to one of the slots.)

So i turn on my ds and stuff, expecting to see similar options but it turns out, that there aren't any.
So, I'd like to know, if there is any way i can load my currently existing .sav file, or do i have to start a new game.

Put the save file in the same folder as your ROM, and make sure it has the same name. Lameboy automatically detects that.

Example: If your ROM is called "Pokemon Crystal.gbc", put your save file as "Pokemon Crystal.sav" in the same folder as your ROM.
