Homebrew Lameboy and Pokemon RBY

While attempting to save by pressing X after saving in-game, i reset and it says "New Game" on the menu. When I try to save and go to the log, it says an error has occurred. I am using an R4i-SDHC kernel 1.51b. I start Lameboy via Moonshell, due to Lameboy being unable to load most ROMS when starting from firmware.

I just save in-game, then go to the lameboy menu and select "exit". It saves the SRAM this way.
It sounds like what you're doing should have done the trick, though. So I don't know what to tell you. :/
