Homebrew Lameboy and GBC Saves

Hey Guys,

I've recently downloaded lameboy and played with it on my ds using Pokemon Silver, but I was wondering about some things.
So, If I save in game, and then I take the Pokemon Silver.sav file, and use it with a GBC emulator for pc, it seems as if I haven't saved at all, even though the "Continue" option still shows up in Lameboy. I was wondering how to make this work so I can use the Game and the Game.sav file for future reference.

Check to see if the files are even compatible, first. Most emulators have subtle differences in savs, for the GBC emulators at least.

It should work. The save I had from DQ3 on the PC using VBA works fine with lameboy.

PRESS THE X BUTTON after saving.

I play crytsal on it still. it works amazingly well- even better then when HGSS still has problems. and HGSS is a DS game.

It should work fine.
I use Lameboy myself and when I save, it uses .sav for me.
